Be very kind to yourself, the way you would be kind to a little child still learning. What you have always wanted your parents to tell you, you can tell yourself now gently.
Your parents may not be around anymore, or they may not have been able to give you the love you deserved as a child but the most important thing is that YOU can give YOU those words of love and approval you crave for this very moment. Imagining what you would have wanted the perfect parent to tell you, can heal a lot of wounds.
